To become a member of the club, the prospective applicant must be single and at least 21 years of age. He/she must submit an application form along with an application fee of $25.00 (not applicable to the annual dues). After attending at least one of the general club meetings held once a month, generally the third Tuesday of each month at GoodTimes in Somerville, as well as spending a weekend up at the house in North Conway, the applicant will be voted on by the club membership at the next general meeting. If for any reason the applicant is not accepted the application fee will be returned. When the applicant is voted in as a new member, he/she is on probationary status for the first 6 months. During this time both the new member and the other club members get a chance to know each other better to determine whether or not the union is mutually beneficial. Currently the membership dues is $350 annually.

Being a member gets you the following benefits:

  • Year round access to the house in Intervale/North Conway - a key to the house is given to all members
  • Local access to ski areas in the White Mountain region (Sunday River is only an hour away!)
  • Discounts on lift tickets through our affiliation with the Eastern Interclub Ski League (EICSL)
  • Weekly parties during the winter
  • Special events throughout the year (New Years/Summer Club - see events calendar for a sample)
  • Ski race weekends during winter (the Randolph does not currently field a race team - however, members are welcomed to participate with other EICSL ski clubs who do)
Membership requirements include (but are not limited to):
  • Attend at least 3 general meetings per year - why wouldn't you want to attend them all?
  • Participate in one work weekend per year - held in the spring and fall - $150 fine for failure to participate (sorry! the house won't take care of itself!!)
  • It's recommended that each member eventually participate on the Randolph board of directors in some capacity
  • Weekend coordinator duties once per year
  • Clean-up duties are assigned to each member when up at the house
  • Bar/Door duty when parties held at the Randolph
  • and above all - HAVE FUN!!
